Performance Management: Electronics
The Service Division of Sharp Electronics U.S.A. asked for Performance Management training. What the VP really wanted was for their employees not to be surprised by their rating at their Annual Review. Training could not accomplish this. Rather, the Performance System needed to be revised. Working with the leadership team, and teams of employees, they revised their entire process, from goal setting, to coaching to rewards and recognition. The result: increased focus on business priorities, improved communication between managers and employees and a system that is actually used by leaders!
