Dan has over 20 years of business experience. He has worked as an internal consultant and has held key strategic positions within several companies. He brings the experience and accomplishments of a “hands on” senior professional in all phases of the organizational learning and development process.
More specifically, Dan has experience in: organizational, team and individual assessment; aligning job requirements and performance expectations with organizational strategy; facilitating strategic team retreats; delivering one-on-one coaching to executives, middle management; designing and delivering leadership and management development programs; creating competency models; facilitating the redesign of work processes; developing employee ownership programs; and deploying diversity initiatives.
With his behavioral sciences background in Organization Development, Dan’s focus is applying the proper intervention against clear objectives, grounded in a methodology to measure the return-on-investment. Ultimately, Dan is committed to creating profitable, thriving organizational systems that support a climate of mutual trust, respect, commitment, and collaboration.
Dan developed his craft and earned his accomplishments in environments ranging from large well-structured organizations to loosely structured struggling entrepreneurial endeavors and mid-sized growth oriented businesses. He was Vice President of Organizational Development at Graphique de France, Director of Organizational Development at Pharm-Eco Labs and an internal management consultant at Beth Israel Deaconess and Sun Life Financial. His experience and skills are built on a solid foundation; especially as a consultant and a leader in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, federal government, and higher education.
Dan has a master’s degree in Organizational Development from The American University / National Training Labs (NTL) where he was the sole person in his class to graduate with “Distinction.” He is certified to teach the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator which he integrates into his team building practice. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at Emmanuel College in Boston where he has been teaching master level courses in their management and human resources program for over 8 years.
