Dan Treadwell

For over a decade, Dan has traveled extensively throughout the continental US, Canada, Europe and Asia providing services as consultant, executive coach, instructional designer, facilitator and master facilitator. He has been fortunate to work with a wide variety of audiences at all levels and disciplines in industries as diverse as computer hardware, pharmaceuticals, education, computer software, finance, insurance, telecommunications, aerospace, manufacturing, retail as well as local, state and federal government.

A special area of expertise Dan has developed over the past decade is his affinity for the unique needs of technology-based workers. He has worked closely with technical and non-technical organizations helping technical leaders and professionals improve their leadership/management, project management and communication skills and approaches. As a result, Dan co-authored a book on attracting and retaining technology-based workers, Money Isn’t All That Matters (available on Amazon.com) and has spoken nation-wide on the topic.

Prior to consulting, Dan was with Blessing White, a multi-national training organization headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. He joined them in 1990 as their Chief Financial Officer and was instrumental in establishing their current European operations. Dan made a career move out of finance and accounting and into training and consulting in 1993 because of his passion for working with individuals and organizations in their quests to develop and refine their strategic leadership and communication skills.

Before entering the management consulting field, Dan supervised accounting/finance, marketing, operations, consulting and advertising staff in his positions with banking, advertising, performing arts, sales promotion, and training organizations. During this period, Dan worked with several multi-national organizations and was tasked with bringing them into the “computer age” by coordinating the design and installation of computerized accounting systems/solutions and local area networks. He is a 1979 graduate of The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
