We start all Team Building with a tailored evaluation of Team Maturity and Change Readiness. This is done through a combination of interviews and the proprietary diagnostic tool, eepulse. These results inform Team Leaders about team strengths and weaknesses and provides specific, actionable data on how to improve performance.
Based on the team assessment, we suggest a variety of possible team building events.

The process includes having one of our senior consultants sit in on team meetings to:
- Observe the team in action
- Provide input on the process of communication at the meeting
- Provide coaching to managers. This is both on-the spot and/or post-meeting feedback based on the individual manager’s preference
- Provide on-the-spot coaching for improved team performance
- Create the space for peers to coach each other
- Teach skills appropriate to the learning needs of the team
Like getting a check up at the doctor's office, some team leaders want a quick assessment and diagnosis of what issues are keeping their teams from improving performance. In these situations, we assist leaders by providing a TeamNRG Check Up™. This includes:
- People NRG phone consultation with team leader to explain current situation.
- Conducting an eepulse survey
- Within 3 days, receive a detailed debrief for team leader on team strengths and areas needing improvement, including a comprehensive written report with specific recommendations on how to improve team performance
- The phone based ‘debrief’ includes specific recommendations on how to improve team performance
- Optional: Many team leaders repeat the TeamNRG Check-up over 3 months. This way they can track performance improvement as they implement change and link it to team performance

“With our strategic partner, Inside Cinema, we set up this video booth system for ASTD Conference. Attendees shared their thoughts in this private booth on what they see as issues / challenges in the workplace learning world. The video was then edited on-site into a montage and shown on monitors the following day. We use this technology for clients at retreats for attendees to share their thoughts with each other. This resulting film is then played back at the retreat to either further deepen the dialogue or to simply close the day on a high note.”
